James T. Griffin is a Managing Director and is responsible for all client service execution and deliverables in addition to maintaining monitoring responsibilities for numerous funds and co-investments.
Prior to joining LPCA, Jim spent the prior 12 years at two Big Five accounting firms providing transaction, consulting, and audit services. The most recent three years of which were focused on institutional investors with monitoring their private equity investments, performing fund, co-investment and secondary due diligence, analyzing strategic relationships, and negotiating agreements. Prior to the focus on institutional investors, Jim performed financial and operational due diligence and analysis for
foreign corporations and private equity groups.
Jim earned a degree in Economics from the University of California at Santa Cruz and holds a Master of Business Administration. He is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
